Casey joined Paletz Law in September 2023 as a law clerk and became an Associate Attorney in November 2024. She focuses her practice on landlord-tenant matters and assists with creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and claim and delivery litigation.
Casey attended Grand Valley State University, where she obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice with minors in Chemistry and Environmental Studies. With a passion for sustainability, she interned at Kent County Health Department, Ottawa County Health Department, and the City of Grand Rapids Department of Law as an undergraduate student.
Casey graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in May 2024. She earned the book award for the highest raw score in her U.S. Basic Income Tax Law course and was named on the Dean’s list in her final two semesters of law school. Casey participated in Detroit Mercy’s Environmental Law Clinic during her 3L year. In addition to practicing law, Casey teaches pilates in the metro Detroit area.
