Danielle M. Paglia joined Paletz Law in August, 2020 as a law clerk before transitioning to her role as Associate Attorney in May, 2021. Since joining Paletz Law, Danielle has focused her skills in the area of landlord-tenant law at multiple court levels.

Danielle also practices in the areas of creditor’s rights in bankruptcy, general civil litigation, and fair housing defense. Danielle is also the project manager handling the Firm’s abandoned title matters for manufactured homes in Michigan.

Danielle brought a diverse skillset to Paletz Law. With the intent to go to law school, Danielle attended Purdue University, graduating in May, 2017 with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Spanish and Political Science. Danielle was awarded the Mae and Lloyd J. Jandos Scholarship and Learning Beyond the Classroom Certificate for her work furthering the understanding and benefits of a diverse campus, service, and leadership. As an Undergraduate student, Danielle worked and volunteered in a variety of different roles on and around campus.

Danielle graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in May, 2020. While a law student, she attended the Institute for Comparative Law & Jurisprudence at the University of Białystok Law Faculty in Białystok, Poland where she took courses in international human rights, comparative constitutional law, and was trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution. During her 2L and 3L years, Danielle was the President of the Environmental and Agricultural Law Society. She also interned as a law clerk with The Oakland County Corporation Counsel, Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Ingham County Probate Court. Additionally, Danielle worked as a Student Clinician for The Michigan State University College of Law Animal Welfare Clinic.

  • Worked on several appeals matters, including writing and drafting appellate briefs for the Circuit Court and Michigan Court of Appeals.
  • Obtained stipulation from attorney representing multiple family members of deceased tenant to facilitate entry of an order to acquire title to abandoned manufactured home.
