Nicholas Borden-Sanford joined Paletz Law in January 2025 as an Associate Attorney, focusing on landlord-tenant law.
Before working at Paletz Law, Nicholas was an Asset Manager in the manufactured housing industry for many years. He has extensive experience as a project manager and oversaw the financial operations of more than 300 multi-family rental communities. He also created and maintained various economic models and reports to track profitability. Nicholas has considerable experience assessing multi-family property performance, focusing on revenue, occupancy rates and capital expenditures.
Nicholas earned a B.A. in Economics from Michigan State University in 2018. He then graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in May 2024, earning his J.D. and Master of Business Administration (MBA). There, he participated in the Trademark and Entrepreneurship Clinic, advising clients seeking trademark protection, served on Moot Court and was elected Vice President of his 3L law class. He was also a Dean Scholarship recipient and received a Book Award for “The Anatomy of an Affordable Housing Transaction Law Firm” program. Nick was a participant in the Inns of Court as well as an Alpha Iota Delta Honor Society member.
