A Message from CEO Matthew Paletz: Celebrating 30 Years of Fighting for You

As we close out another year, I’m filled with gratitude and pride as I reflect on what we’ve accomplished together in a very tough court and tenant advocacy environment. But this year marked a milestone for us that has seemed at times unreachable through a family succession, crippling recession and global pandemic that was more than challenging. But I am here today thanking you for 30 years of allowing Paletz Law to serve you. It’s truly been an honor.

Certainly, this anniversary is NOT about looking back, but recognizing that our commitment to fighting for you has never been more substantial. Every single day, our team shows up ready to advocate, innovate, and push forward, in the courtroom, in the media, and behind the scenes. We’re not just practicing law; we’re actively working to make a sometimes bogged-down and seemingly adversarial court system work better for you.

I won’t sugarcoat the obstacles we’ve all faced this year. Court administrative charges continue to climb and staffing shortages and docketing delays have created frustrating bottlenecks that affect everyone. But here’s what I want you to know: we are meeting these obstacles, and we’re fighting them on every front.

We’re engaging daily with multiple courts, advocating for efficiency improvements and systemic changes. We’re politically active, working behind the scenes to push for reforms that benefit property owners and landlords. We’re also always aggressively taking our message to the media to shine a light on these issues. This isn’t just about talk; this is a proactive priority for Paletz Law and we’re not slowing down heading into 2026. 

Another way we’re making your hectic job easier is through the newly enhanced Paletz Portal. We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re committed to making it your central hub for case information. Our goal is simple: fewer emails cluttering your inbox, more centralized information at your fingertips, and streamlined notifications that help you prepare for what’s ahead. We’re continuously improving the Portal because we know efficiency matters to you and that your time is valuable. It’s a service and proprietary technology that you’ll only find at Paletz Law. 

As we head into the new year, I want you to know how deeply we value your trust in us.
